I want to photograph
more LGBTQI weddings.
You already know the page
I'm not going to write.
Everyone is welcome, love is love, a small flag in the footer, and then a portfolio where nobody looks like you. If you've been searching for a photographer you have read six of those this week and you can spot the seventh from the first line.
So, mine. I want to photograph more LGBTQI weddings. I'm not going to hire models and stage a shoot so this page looks more convincing than it is, and I'm not going to borrow anybody else's couples to make the point.

What I can do is show you I've actually done the work rather than added a keyword. I sat down and wrote up how getting married works across all four jurisdictions I shoot in, because the rules genuinely differ and Maryland will cost you two days if nobody tells you. It's useful whether you hire me or not, which is rather the point of it.

Talk to me first.
Not an inquiry form and a quote. An actual conversation, on the phone or over coffee if you're near enough, before either of us talks about booking anything.
Bring whatever you want to ask. How I'd run your morning. What I'd do about the family photographs. Whether the thing you're planning is going to work at four in the afternoon in July. Ask me something awkward if you've got one.
You're not deciding whether I can hold a camera. You're deciding whether you want me in the room all day. That's a fair thing to work out in advance, and it costs nothing to find out.
The licence rules here
are not the same.
Four jurisdictions meet within an hour of my house and they all do this differently. Maryland will cost you two days if nobody warns you. I wrote the whole thing up, county by county, along with the venues around here I've actually worked.
I love love.
All of it. The entire ridiculous business of two people standing up in front of everyone they know and saying so out loud, on the record, in good shoes.
I'd love to photograph yours. aaron@aaronmayphoto.com, or the form. Tell me the date and roughly where.
